Sorry for calling you a moron, that was out of line.
This ban is unwarranted, and makes absolutely no sense. I’m not going to change the name I’ve been using for years because one random admin for ??some reason?? thinks my name is a reference to the Jonestown?

The ckey is obviously a reference to Jones Town which took place in the late 1970s. Jonestown - Wikipedia
Horatio, as much as you try and say it’s “obviously” a reference, it doesn’t change the fact that my name has absolutely, categorically, nothing to do with it. It’s not a reference to Jonestown, and you’re literally the first person to ever bring that connection up to me and I’ve been using this username for years now. It’s totally not fair to say that I can’t use the username I’ve been using for years because one admin erroneously is making some connection that is NOT there.
Edit:
You bring up “the late 1970s” - Jones happened in 1978 according to that article. If my name was a reference to it an event happening in 1978, don’t you think my name would have that year in it? Not 8 years earlier…
Ye sure, just a coincidence that you choose this name and it isn’t a reference to anything, you have been using it for years but also just made this account.
We get people saying the same thing all the time when they are caught on their dumb references, not the first, won’t be the last.
