What happened:
This took place during a captain’s office raid I described in my other grief patrol. A lot was happening, so I didn’t fully think about what the bartender was saying, and tried to quickly end the conversation by accepting the claymore. I also tried to shut off their comments by saying that the claymore does not in fact have a holster, which I hope doesn’t seem like yet another inappropriate comment in hindsight…
