What happened: As a former cargo tech turned virologist released multiple viruses killing over half of the crew. From what I know they also lied IC about being interrupted during their work, claiming they want to cure the viruses.
As far as I can recall they also convinced security during their first arrest/questioning that they do not really know what they were doing as a virologist
