What happened: Braiden, who I’ll simply refer to as HoS for brevity from now on, was a complete powergamer the entire round, and abused his power as HoS. It began when I first entered brig, where HoS was dragging a body he claimed to be a cultist, but was a part of security. Later, he would claim this person to be a heretic, due to the presence of heretics during the round.
Since he was apparently fucked up by the said security officer, he decided to gib them using labor shuttle. I, wanting to represent the prisoner, and even if a cultist, wanted them to be deconverted instead of permanently removed from the game, tried to prevent the body from being gibbed. After thwarting the HoS mutliple times, he eventually succeeded after arresting me, and took away my ID, throwing me out of sec, a makeshift demotion, if you will. I am unsure about who gets to demote lawyers, but I was told during the round only HoP and Captain could. Nevertheless, he would not return my ID, so I had to get a new one from the HoP. Many officers insisted that we demote the HoS, but captain (Government Man) insisted on only doing so through a court case. The Captain bungled the court case, having no sense of structure or proceedings, not allowing prosecution to make any argument, and just letting HoS go. I let bygones be bygones since there wasn’t really anything I could do, and returned to sec to represent prisoners. Upon my arrival in brig, HoS immediately ordered me to leave, and arrested me after I insisted he couldn’t make me do that. He makeshift demoted me a second time, where the round ended soon after. The Head of Security showed signs of not being used to the job or it’s responsibilities, and the way he presented himself was highly unprofessional and egotistic. I believe a jobban for security command would be apt.
