Dear Fulp Station Moderation Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to appeal the recent ban that was imposed on my account for using hate speech. I acknowledge and deeply regret my choice of words, specifically referring to another user as a “Nazi.” I understand that such language is strictly prohibited on the platform, and I take full responsibility for my actions.
I want to emphasize that my intention was never to promote hate or offend anyone based on their beliefs. In the heat of the moment, I used an inflammatory term without fully considering its implications and the impact it could have on others. I now realize the severity of my mistake and the hurtful nature of my words.
I acknowledge that my actions leading up to the incident were misguided and irresponsible. As an aspiring engineer, I was eager to learn how to create atmospheric effects, so I sought out a tutorial for guidance. However, despite my best efforts to replicate the tutorial exactly, I struggled to achieve the desired results. Frustrated by the disparity between my work and the picturesque atmos depicted in the tutorial, I embarked on a misguided mission to fix the issues.
In my misguided pursuit, I deviated from the advice of seasoned atmos engineers who had warned against meddling further. Ignoring their expertise, I continued my attempts to rectify the situation, but my actions only exacerbated the problems I was facing. It was in this state of panic and desperation that I regrettably resorted to making false accusations against one of the professionals, labeling them as a Nazi, in a misguided attempt to avoid potential repercussions from security personnel.
I deeply regret my poor judgment throughout this series of events and fully understand the gravity of my actions. I take full responsibility for the consequences that have ensued and sincerely apologize for the harm I have caused to the reputation of the individual involved and the community as a whole.
I assure you that I have learned a valuable lesson from this experience. I understand that fostering a safe and inclusive environment is of utmost importance, and I am committed to upholding these principles moving forward. I sincerely apologize to the affected user, as well as to the entire SS13 community, for my thoughtless comment.
I kindly request that you reconsider the ban on my account, allowing me the opportunity to make amends and demonstrate my commitment to respectful and constructive engagement on the platform. I am willing to participate in any additional educational programs or moderation initiatives to further enhance my understanding of appropriate behavior and language.
