The reality:

  1. I made no mention of a wizard
  2. I made no mention of him camping arrivals
  3. I revealed nothing about the round other than the fact “died as soon as I joined” and
    we are talking a difference of 30 seconds between joining and dying.

The only thing that this reveals is that Sliggist decided to idly sit around while people were being spawn killed in arrivals. An admin doing nothing about a wizard camping the arrivals shuttle is very much an OOC issue, not an IC one, because it’s something that completely ruins the game.

Take note of where all of the players are dying in the log. It wasn’t just me; the wizard basically murder-boned all of arrivals who just joined with admin blessings.

If you think that is worth a 3 day ban you are completely fucking insane; and this is on top of the fact that my previous ban reason was for, and I quote: “breaking into the bridge of the shuttle” (with 5 crabs and several giant rats already there) and allegedly “spamming” (false and baseless - it was the launch authorization/revoke and I only did it a couple of times - where as I’ve personally seen players do it 50 times in a row with zero consequences despite the fact it’s actually annoying) in addition to the fact I blinded people as an antag.

Yes. A wizard can gib players in arrivals with no problem but as a syndicate clown I am not allowed to use a laser pointer to blind people. The problem I have with this, and why it was brought into OOC is the repeated and blatant selective enforcement of rules.

I must say, it was pretty shitty of me as the wizard to start killing people in the bar… I killed no one in arrivals though.

That literally was IC OOC, you gave people knowledge of a death in a situation where no one should have known.

i think the ban is more about arguing with admins and being a shit in ahelps rather than the actual ick ock
and it was ick ock, because dying immediately after spawning tells everyone some guy just died in arrivals

Alright so i looked over the logs for this ban there are a couple details that matter here. The first being that you claimed it to be spawn camping but he never entered the lounge area of the station. The first damage happens at the airlock in the lounge which was caused by a fire alarm but afterwards you continued to move forward towards the chapel. Once in the chapel area you got attacked along with a few others who were in the hallway and killed by the wizard in the garden. Heliostation has a weird setup for arrivals but for it to be considered spawn camping he would have to be preventing you from coming onto the station safely which means being in the arrival area or in the lounge which he didn’t do and the fight happened in the central hallway outside the chapel which is where the wizard spawned on station so he might not have even known you were fresh off the shuttle. While it did happen quite quickly and it is a shame you died fresh from the shuttle they were already killing a bunch of other people as they decided to go with a murder setup for wizard which is currently one of the few antags allowed to do so on fulp.

Next up we have IC in OOC which is a bit of a grey area but usually if a staff member asks you to stop something you should probably stop instead you decided to tell them to “do their job” which they were already doing by telling you to stop IC in OOC which means talking about the round currently going on with any information that is relevant to the round. (The fact you died is relevant information for instance.) You were given a 3 day ban which is a fairly low ban for breaking core rules 0.1 and 7 since you literally just came off a ban.

I’ve went ahead and illustrated a bit of the combat with you in red and them in purple. To hopefully kind of explain a bit of what happened and why it’s hard to just slap for spawn camping with the way the map is built.
