State your appeal:
I will start by saying that it is true I used a flamethrower, I did fire it at the HOS and I did punch him. My appeal is about all the things that happened prior to this. I didn’t do any of it because I just felt like throwing fire everywhere or “kill sec” - far from it.
It is further true that Engineering had been fortified, but not by my doing, with my approval yes because I thought a bunker engineering department sounded cool - not as a way to pick a fight with anyone. That round I had setup solars, I had helped Botany grow pancakes, I had good drinks and social conversation with the Detective and I fixed several pipe breaches.
So why did I fire the flamethrower? Because I came back to engineering and was immediately shot at for no reason, a mech barged through the doors and fired live ballistic ammo at me, then when I retreated into Engineering, a sec officer opened disabler-fire at me which was then shortly followed by lethal laser fire - And its only Then that they ask us to surrender - in my confusion I go “Surrender? What?” (you can see this in the logs) having No idea whats going on, and then I’m shot at again and I try to retreat and at all times I am not trying to fight anybody.
So then HOS comes into the room and starts shooting at CE, me and everyone else…So I just want to ask you: What am I supposed to do? I genuinely don’t understand why I wasn’t after all that within some right to try to defend myself…Please help me understand.
Oh and to the question of “Why did you have a flamethrower?” - We had a rat infestation that round and I made one to deal with it, but never got to use it, so I actually forgot I had it until the fighting started.
That is my appeal to you.
EDIT: For what its worth I never wanted anyone to fight and I was only hoping to have an innocent laugh before round-end.
