I am writing this appeal to request the reconsideration of the permanent ban placed on my account on 2022-08-09. The reason for the ban was that I raided the armory as a non-antagonist, and as it was only two hours after my previous ban, the decision was made to impose a permanent ban.
I want to start by expressing my sincere apologies for my behavior. I understand that my actions were against the server rules, specifically the rule on Self Antagging, which states that players should not act as enemies of the station when not designated as an antagonist. I now recognize that by raiding the armory, I was essentially making myself ‘valid’ by committing a capital crime, which is something only an antagonist should reasonably do. I realize that my actions caused disruption to the game for other players and negatively impacted the overall atmosphere on the server.
During the period of my ban, I have been active on several HRP servers and I have come to appreciate the importance of following server rules and maintaining a positive atmosphere for all players. I have taken the time to familiarize myself with server guidelines, including the Self Antagging rule, and have a better understanding of what is expected of me as a player.
I kindly request that you reconsider lifting my permanent ban, as I am genuinely committed to improving my behavior and contributing positively to the community. I understand that my actions have consequences, and I am prepared to accept any probationary period or restrictions that you may deem necessary to ensure my compliance with server rules.
