Powertripping HoS kills an innocent nightmare over a permit for his arm

What happened:
Miner does the mining. Eventually finds Pride’s Mirror. Turns self into nightmare because why not. Returns to station, tells the crew, everything is more or less fine. Uses cargo chute and goes to sec, ends up inside sec. Accidental tresspass. HoS freaks the fuck out. Starts demanding either a permit or for the arm to be removed (the light eater), captain is not on board. Eventually turn the lights off once nightmare is crit and dying. Nightmare escapes, twice. Time passes while the HoS continues to power trip, and both the captain and the AI disagree with HoS. Eventually nightmare goes into central hallway to check station status, HoS is there and chases them down, nightmare is caught. HoS then proceeds to remove nightmare’s arm AND KILL THEM because lights. Please note the worst crime the nightmare committed was high security trespass, nothing that should have resulted in death-by-incompetent surgery. Rest of the shift didn’t matter.

Please ban this person from playing HoS, they clearly do not understand space law, the role of security, or the server rules.

It’s Aspear Stargeezer, I told you to get a permit for the armblade because it’s a lethal weapon, it’s a 30 damage armor penetrating light eater, if we’re using meta OOC rules here - if you are an antagonist, a light eater is a very powerful weapon and can easily be used to kill people, it is a very lethal weapon on par with an energy sword.
From a roleplay perspective - I told you to get a permit for the arm because it is a lethal weapon, gave you ample warning to do it with the captain willing to do it right then and there.
Your overall list of crimes was: Evading arrest X3, Secure trespass, sparking a manhunt, vandalism of lights.
After arresting you I confiscated your weapon, which was your armblade and subsequently your heart, after you died (can’t live without a heart) brought you to robotics so that they would install a new robotic heart in you and revive you.
You didn’t get a brig sentence even though I was in my right to do so.
After I arrested you, you told me IC that you will be reporting me, which is OOC in IC.
All in all I don’t think I was not in accordance with space law as you said I was.
You purposefully omitted important facts like how I gave you plenty warning and chances after you escaped custody, for which I personally find your grief patrol to be in bad faith and an attempt at ban baiting, please roleplay on an MRP server, only that way we can make Fulpstation better.

Wasn’t an antag. Weird that you don’t grasp that.

Shouldn’t need a permit for someone I cannot remove/disarm/ is part of race. Gave ample warning but you did a literal real time count down while captain and I were trying to talk about it.

Proof of not understanding space law: Evading arrest is not a part of space law, closest is resisting and isn’t a crime on its own, merely a modifier. Secure trespass is accurate as stated. Sparking a manhunt ALSO not in space law whatsoever & was entirely your choice. Vandalism once again NOT in space law, additionally since lights were actively killing me, it’s entirely reasonable to break them in self defense.

Confiscation nothing. You performed illegal surgery as HoS on an innocent person against their will, and actually the death was caused by light, which you were aware of, prior to heart removal. I was revived after death, but it actually had nothing to do with you at all (except maybe the heart, I didn’t see that part to confirm/deny)/

You sure could have done a brig sentence, however you never suggested that or attempted it. You went straight to permit/surgery(and death).

Of course I told you IC I would be reporting you. You straight up griefed and there were no admins/mods present to respond to ahelp. Additionally, Fulp isn’t highrp.

I omitted your ‘facts’ because they aren’t relevant, per space law and how you still griefed an innocent. I ‘personally find’ your rebuttal to be ‘bad faith’ and ban evasion. Please lower your expectations for a non-highrp server and stop power tripping as HoS, only that way can you make Fulpstation better.

Edit: Having triple checked up on permits, I argue this entire line of reasoning (HoS’s) was pointless.

Shaft Miners, who regularly fight fauna and megafauna need weaponry to do so. Therefore it is part of their job role. Therefore did not need a permit whatsoever. gg HoS

Miners aren’t permitted they have weapons that specially work only in the atmosphere lavaland/space they arent as strong once brought to the station this is the only exception i don’t see where they would get special treatment

Nightmare arm, from magic species change, is Lavaland loot, which it permitted.

IDK what server’s space law rules this screenshot is from but it’s not from Fulp lol.

Anyways, this has been handled. I don’t really see any rules broken here, you trespassed into brig with your newfound powers, and I think the HoS handled it well and even offered you roleplay to keep your weapon.

You willingly took the “lights hurt me” pill, so I’m not that concerned that the light ended up hurting you, HoS went out of their way to make sure you were revived and could continue the round afterwards so it’s all a big nothingburger.
