I’ve been harassed into making a mentor app, so here it is.
How long have you played on Fulpstation?
I joined January 2020 and have almost 1000 total hours.
What departments are you able to be a mentor for? Can you elaborate on your experience in those departments?
Having most of my playtime sunk into Assistant, Security, and Supply. I know how to assist :) and all the misc game mechanics learned from fooling around. I understand both the shaft miner and cargo tech side of supply. On Security, I have knowledge of Fulp’s Space law and policy surrounding Sec. With my Security playtime also comes with knowledge of antagonists such as Heretics and Bloodsuckers. I’m familiar with all the other departments, able to do all Medical and Science roles (besides toxins and viro). In Engineering I know construction and solars. I’m able to play all Service roles including HOP. Finally I am familiar with Silicon, following laws and how to interact.
What are some things you’ve noticed as a player on Fulp?
As someone who has been perma banned, I recognize the misconception that many new players have about the game and its moderation. The chaos of the game which is so promoted makes new players grief as to add to the chaos, not understanding the controlled chaos of antagonists and how the game really works. I hope that as a mentor, I would be able to stop new players from following that path, and showing them the true value of the game through mechanics and community.
